Valet Parking FAQ's If you are planning on using Key Valet Services for valet parking for a special event. Using our company will avoid hassles and delays for your guests.

What is valet parking?
Valet parking is a service designed to eliminate the need for customers or guests to park their own vehicles. Visitors drive to an area designated for valet parking and the driver receives a ticket identifying his or her vehicle. A responsible driver employed or contracted by the venue will then drive the car to a monitored parking area. When the guests are ready to leave the event, a valet parking coordinator will retrieve the matching car keys and a driver returns the vehicle.

Do I need valet parking?
There are many parking restrictions, congested streets and inconvenient parking locations; your guests will appreciate that you have hired Key Valet Services to attend to these issues for them. Eventually, your guests will find parking on their own and than have to walk to your event location. Why not make their entrance easy, classy, and special? By providing valet service you are telling your guests that their comfort and well-being are important to you from the very beginning.

Why should I use Key Valet Services Inc?
Key Valet Services has been in business for over three years, with a combined experience of more then ten years in the parking industry. We carry a one million dollar garage keeper's liability insurance policy. Our well-groomed valet attendants will be in front of your home, business or event location and are there not only to for parking convenience but greeting and door service as well. Some hosts let their party coordinator or caterer hire the valet company for them or you can acquire our services directly. We currently provide several uniform options to fit your event. Our service will cater to the atmosphere of your event.

How do I determine how many attendants will be needed?
Every street and location is different and must be surveyed by the valet operator before we can give you the proper number of attendants. Being properly staffed is essential to a smooth running event. Too few attendants can result in long lines. Too many attendants give a sloppy and unprepared look to your event.

Who tips the attendants?
Generally tipping is left up to the customers or guests. Anywhere from $2-3 to $10 is what the attendants' receive per car. In the case of private parties where attendants would be instructed not to accept tips a 15% to 20% gratuity can be added to the bill.
